Live Wall Calendar Privacy Policy

Live Wall Calendar is a macOS desktop-planning app provided by Estuaire Studio. This policy explains what the app can access, where information is stored, and what leaves your Mac.

The app works without an Estuaire Studio account

Live Wall Calendar does not require an Estuaire Studio account. Layouts, display settings, palettes, typography choices, local notes, cached weather, and the content needed to draw your Canvas are stored locally on your Mac.

Apple Calendar and Reminders

Calendar and Reminders access is optional and requested separately through macOS. When you grant access, the app reads only the calendars and reminder lists you select for the Canvas. A reminder is added, rescheduled, or completed only after you choose that action. Estuaire Studio does not receive your Calendar events or Reminders.

System wallpaper and generated backgrounds

In System Wallpaper mode, Live Wall Calendar observes the wallpaper selected in macOS and draws its modules above it. If macOS protects the source image, the app can ask you to select that same image through a read-only file picker. The resulting security-scoped bookmark stays on your Mac. The image is not copied, uploaded, or sent to Estuaire Studio.

In Ambient mode, the app generates the selected palette locally. It changes the macOS wallpaper only after you explicitly choose to use or update the ambient background.

Optional weather

Weather is optional. When enabled, Live Wall Calendar uses Apple Location Services or a city you enter to request a forecast through Apple WeatherKit. The app coarsens automatic location coordinates, caches recent weather locally, and displays Apple Weather attribution. Estuaire Studio does not receive your location or forecast request.

Optional Notion connection

Notion is optional. Connect Notion opens Notion’s browser approval flow so you can choose the pages or databases the app may access. Notion access and refresh tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain. Selected task rows may be cached locally so the Canvas can remain useful while offline.

The authorization flow uses a stateless Estuaire Studio service to exchange and refresh OAuth credentials. That service does not receive, store, or log your Notion page or database content. Live Wall Calendar reads only the content you approve. When a completion field is mapped safely, a deliberate checkbox action writes only that one completion property. The app does not provide general Notion editing.

Disconnecting Notion removes the local credentials and cached Notion content. You can separately remove cached content or change the pages shared with the app.

Local notes

Notes created in Live Wall Calendar stay in the app’s local storage. Only note titles are shown on the desktop Canvas. Estuaire Studio does not receive your notes.

No tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs

Live Wall Calendar contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, attribution SDK, tracking identifier, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. Estuaire Studio does not sell personal information or track you across apps or websites.

Retention and deletion

Local settings and cached content remain until you remove them in the app or uninstall the app. Disconnecting Notion removes its Keychain credentials and local cache. Access to Calendar, Reminders, Location Services, Login Items, and selected files can also be changed in macOS System Settings.
