ARIA · Complete product guide

One place to read
what needs you.

ARIA brings money, tasks, and calendar context into one daily view, then lets you move into the workflow that needs attention. This guide covers the user-visible capabilities verified in the current pre-release build.

01

Orient

Start with Home.

Home is the daily reading layer. It brings forward the money, task, reminder, and calendar items that matter now without replacing the detailed screens underneath.

1

Read the headline

Begin with the amount ARIA considers safe to use after the bills, goals, and cushion it knows about are set aside.

2

Check what needs attention

Review the timeline and Attention Radar for due, overdue, or approaching items across the app.

3

Open the source

Select an item to move into its bill, task, reminder, event, goal, or finance detail, not a detached summary.

4

Return to the day

Completed or updated items feed back into the shared overview so the next thing can come forward.

02

Understand

Build the money picture.

ARIA can work from information you enter yourself. A live bank connection is optional and is not part of the current free plan.

  1. Add an account.Create a manual account and enter its current balance, or connect an eligible institution when that capability is available to your plan.
  2. Add the activity.Record income or spending manually, scan a receipt, or import a statement for review.
  3. Review categories.Check imported or entered transactions and correct the category when the first pass is not right.
  4. Open the breakdown.Use the Safe to Spend breakdown to see how bills, goals, and cushion affect the displayed amount.

Bank connections are read-only: they provide transaction awareness and cannot initiate transfers.

03

Plan

Bills, budgets, goals, and Safety Net.

These tools describe different kinds of commitment. They share context, but each remains editable on its own screen.

Bills

Add the payee, amount, due date, and cadence. When paid, mark the bill settled. ARIA keeps payment history, can prepare a shareable settled card, and advances recurring bills to their next occurrence.

Split a bill

Open a bill, choose the split action, assign the share, and use the resulting record when you need to remember who owes what.

Budgets

Create category-level spending boundaries and compare activity with the amount you planned. Budgets inform the broader money view without replacing transaction detail.

Goals

Name the goal, set its target, and update progress as the amount changes. Goals are one of the commitments set aside before ARIA presents what is safe to use.

Safety Net

Use recent expense context to frame a reserve target, review the sources behind it, and see how many months the current reserve could cover.

What-if

Enter a hypothetical amount or change, run the scenario, and inspect the effect against known balances, bills, and goals before changing any real record.

04

Focus

Let the right work come forward.

ARIA Attention Radar with current task and reminder groups
Attention Radar · current priorities

Tasks, reminders, and projects give ARIA enough structure to distinguish what needs attention now from what can wait.

  1. Capture the item.Add a task or reminder with the title and timing you know. You can refine it later.
  2. Group larger work.Create a project, add steps, and open the project detail when a single task is not enough.
  3. Read Now and Next.Attention Radar separates immediate work from near-term context instead of presenting one undifferentiated list.
  4. Resolve or defer.Complete the item when it is done, or update its timing when it genuinely belongs later.

05

Schedule

Read time and bills together.

Calendar gives scheduled time, bills, and reminders a shared horizon while keeping their records distinct.

  1. Choose the horizon.Move between day, week, month, and upcoming views to match the decision you are making.
  2. Add an event.Enter the title and timing, then save it into ARIA's calendar view.
  3. Open the detail.Select an event to review, edit, or remove it. Bills and reminders remain linked to their own workflows.
  4. Import when available.External Apple and Google calendar import is a gated capability in the current build; manual ARIA events remain separate.

06

Ask

Use ARIA to act on known context.

ARIA's assistant works with records already in the app. It is designed for navigation, capture, and planning, not for transferring money or replacing professional financial advice.

Basic capture

Use supported voice commands to add a task, reminder, or event. Review the created item and undo it when the capture was not what you intended.

Full voice

The broader conversational voice experience is an ARIA+ capability in the current build. Availability depends on the final shipping configuration.

What-if planning

Ask a scenario question or open What-if directly, enter the hypothetical change, and inspect its effect without altering the underlying accounts.

07

Record

Receipts and tax-ready history.

ARIA includes a lightweight finance receipt workflow. ARIA Scan is the separate Estuaire product for a deeper, purchase-centred library.

  1. Scan the receipt.Capture the document and let on-device text recognition prepare transaction details for review.
  2. Correct the record.Check the merchant, amount, category, and other extracted fields before saving them into finance history.
  3. Mark deductible activity.Use the transaction's tax fields when the record belongs in your tax summary.
  4. Export the summary.Open the tax summary and export CSV when you need a portable record. Keep source documents required for your own filing situation.
